During the Belle Epoque, the Grand Hotel Victoria hosted well-off English, German and Russian families travelling from the Engadin, trailed by huge trunks, loads of luggage, hat boxes and the promise of an unforgettable holiday. Sumptuous staircases, chandeliers and halls adorned with stucco and gilded friezes testified the splendor of the Art Nouveau style.

Today, the irresistible charm that has endured for over a century has a new look, thanks to an attentive renovation that has conferred contemporary form and function to the majesty of materials from times of yore.
